Dr. Svjetlana Dziko, President and owner of Family Health & Wellness Center, P.C., has been providing family and obstetric care to the Lincoln community since 2004. Prior to acquiring the clinic in late 2016, Dr. Dziko was Director of the practice while it was known as Family Health Care Center.

She completed her medical degree at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia in 1982 and her OB/GYN residency program at the Medical Center Travnik General Hospital, Bosnia in 1990. Dr. Dziko, her husband and her two children immigrated to the U.S. in 1997, where she completed her family practice residency program through Lincoln Medical Education Partnership in 2004, and became board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians the same year.

Dr. Dziko belongs to many local and national medical organizations. She is fluent in Bosnian. Her clinical interests include wellness, weight-loss, obstetrics and caring for children. She enjoys dancing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Terra Papik joined our practice in late 2017. She received her bachelor of science degree at Nebraska Wesleyan, and went on to attend medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa. She received her Doctor of Osteopathy in 2007 and returned to Lincoln to complete her residency in family medicine through Lincoln Medical Education Partnership.

Dr. Papik has always had a special interest in women’s health and has for years provided primary care, including obstetrics and gynecology, to our community. She became certified as a medical consultant for Creighton Model Natural Family Planning and practices NaPro technology. She currently is the only female physician in Lincoln to offer this service and works closely with NFP practitioners throughout many of the dioceses in Nebraska.

Dr. Papik is a Husker native born and raised in Lincoln, NE. As a wife and mother of 6, she prides herself as being family focused. If you ask, Dr. Papik will tell you she is a farm girl at heart and spends her down time working on the family farm with her husband and children. Together they raise cows, dwarf goats, and chickens. Her hobbies include running, fishing, quilting, and camping.

Kelli Kodad has been with the practice as a Physician Assistant since 2004. She received a Bachelor of Science from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and went on to complete her Masters of Physician Studies, where she focused her interests on Internal Medicine.

Her clinical expertise and interests are management of an array of chronic illnesses, particularly Diabetes and Gestational Diabetes. She focuses on identifying risk factors for such diseases, and implementing preventative measures with patients before their chronic illnesses become impossible to manages.

Kelli loves to spend time her free time with her children, her husband, and the rest of their family and friends. She enjoys music, traveling, and caring for the horses at her family’s farm.

Tom Jeffrey joined our group in 2016 after completing his Post Masters Certificate, specializing in Family Practice, from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and is AANP Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He has acquired more than 30,000 hours of bedside patient care experience. He knows what it means to truly listen, assess and advocate for a patient and their loved ones.

Tom’s practice focuses on men’s health. He feels there is a need within the community to improve upon regular health maintenance and preventative care for men. Tom chose family practice because he enjoys building life-long relationships and getting to know the entire family across all ages as needs arise.

He grew up in Lincoln, and was a student-athlete at East High School as well as the University of Nebraska. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and watching his children compete in soccer and show choir. He loves anything outdoors, particularly fishing and hiking. He also enjoys working on home and landscaping projects with his wife.
